A relay triggered from something in the fuse panel is the best way, then feed the relay directly from the battery through a 20amp (#12 wire) or 30amp (#10 wire) fuse or circuit breaker to create your new circuit. Here's a simple drawing using a commonly available "Bosch" style relay:

The systems are self bleeding, so there must be another issue. Did you use a OEM valve or aftermarket one?

Nice job. Make sure you have slime or foam in those tires, a flat might cause a tip over.

Removal is not necessary to test them, just a good ohm meter is needed. Remove the electrical connection at the top of the plug, touch one lead of the meter to a good ground, and the other to the glow plug where the connector was just removed. A reading of near zero ohms indicates a good plug...

Two position swith? It has to be three position.,ON-OFF-ON so the solenoid is not powered all the time. The two ON positions should be momentary also.

Hard to find a short that blows a 30 amp fuse with a meter? Really? I guess we should advise him to just replace the fuse with bigger and bigger ones until the wires melt, maybe put a .22lr or a nickel in its place? That will surly find the fault.:eek:
