I totally agree with you on going after freezer value. After 48 years of hunting, I have yet to mount a deer, moose, elk or bear. Lots were worthy, just not my thing. Lots of chew toys for the dogs though. :LOL:
Caught this little fellow on trail cam last year but never saw him in daylight during hunting season. The other day I saw him in full velvet crossing one of my fields while i was out mowing, he certainly grew over winter and hope to get him on trail cam soon.
