    Tires keep deflating

After reading this thread, an idea popped into my head. How about Slime? I have used that on one front BX tire and didn't have further problem. Slime is available everywhere and is not expensive. Might be worth a try. Tractor Gal

Thanks for your post, lugbolt. Got it licked for now! We'll see how things continue to go...hopefully it continues to go well. TG

    Spool or control valve rebuild

What an awful experience! Things happen so quickly and of course we don't expect them. Perhaps that's the definition of an "accident?" :) Like the others, I hope you heal well and quickly, too. Tractor Gal

    HST drain plug dripping

Good to know, D2Cat. Thanks for the additional info. Since the copper is working, I'm not doing anything at the moment, but I may get some of these to have on hand. At some point, that drain point will have to come out! TG

Looking For Advice On Addons For My New Tractor.

Wow, DustyRusty, your info about the man who was crushed is startling. I do know that my BX23D is not to be trusted on much of anything but level earth. The wheel base is far too small, I believe. Your warning about not doing things that are uncomfortable are right on target. I tend to leave...

    HST drain plug dripping

No, a rubber gasket would not work. A new drain plug came with one but it didn't stop the leaking. That's why I remembered about the copper gaskets. Good idea, though, but believe me, I had tried everything! TG

    HST drain plug dripping

I thought about replying again to the thread but figured this kind of nuisance can't hold a candle to some of the repairs many are doing and are asking about. So...here's the story. Yes, I got it fixed...finally after 3 years! After using the tractor, I would have to put a catch can under the...

Whyyyyyy is everything such a secret?

While I haven't been especially pleased with the local Kubota dealer, I am willing to buy the maintenance products from them in the event that I may need them someday! The shipping for SuperUDT, etc., would be ridiculous. I also buy from Messick's because I know that the Kubota product will be...

how to adjust rear tire clearance for RCK60B-22BX on a BX23 MLB

An HST fan cover. Who knew? I purchased the Bxpanded Under Armor. Had I known...well, maybe. This is an old thread but after reading, I had to smile. I had found the bent rod of the mower lift several months ago and hadn't addressed it. Since then, I have removed both the backhoe and the...

BXpanded Thumb,Root Ripper, quick connect- Problems-Warranty

Yes, I agree Greensvillejay. I'm disappointment in Bxpanded that has not responded to my email with a complaint about their forks on a loader with a toothbar. I will not buy from them again. Tractor Gal Who knew? Shortly after I had emailed Bxpanded again this morning, I have gotten a...

Looking For Advice On Addons For My New Tractor.

Sadly, I have had a bad experience with Bxpanded. My email complaint has gone unanswered which is a disappointment. There are quite a few companies that offer accessories for BX tractors. Check them out. Tractor Gal Shortly after emailing Bxpanded again this morning, I have gotten a...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

Yes, I thought the pin was #140 as well. There is no hole. There is a spring with a roll pin holding the spring in place. I think pulling that pin would release the mower deck! Not sure. TopK gave another good explanation so I'll check into that, as well as to look at #140 a little closer...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

Good info, TopK. I'm surely going to check into this...but not today!:) It's too hot and I was able to use the box blade to get done what I needed. MMM stayed up until the end and then I noticed it had begun to sag...kinda' like me, I guess! So, I brought the mower back to full height and...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

Good news. The 1/4 turn of the pin did not solve the problem...unless I was turning the wrong pin. There are not a lot of choices of pins so I don't think that was the problem. BUT, I raised the deck as far as I could manually and blocked it at its highest. Then, I turned the height...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

The yellow indicator is not showing (that I can see) but I've looked at both the RH and LH diagrams. There is a pin on each side so I think that's what you're indicating. I'll give it a try. My main computer is not working so if I can't fully see, I'll download the BX23D from kubotabooks and...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

DustyRusty, "The owner's manual instructs you to remove the backhoe when using the mid-mount mower. It also instructs you to remove the mid-mount mower when using the 3-point hitch for other implements." The manual for BX23D does not say this. It says if using the mower, remove the inlet...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

It's a matter of semantics, I suppose. The PTO selector lever controls which PTO will spin. I understand that. At the same time, in my mind, the lift/lower lever works in conjunction as to which PTO has been selected and the implement attached to that PTO will operate. Eg., If the mower is...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

Thanks for some help. Here's the thing...this is an old BX but it was the first model that included the backhoe...MLB = mower, loader, backhoe. Perhaps they didn't change the linkage to keep the 3 pt separate until later. Yes, the adjustment knob. I had to buy the knob since it was missing...
