    Snow Blower Hydraulics

So the grapple control is simply ON/OFF? There's no way to feather or slow the grapple's action? If so, then having a FULL ON/FULL OFF control trying to set the chute at a particular angle may be next to impossible. I see the deflector slamming up and down so fast your button fingers will get...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

Can you contact the Kubota dealer or tech and ask if they think there could be any issues doing this your way? I understand why you'd want to simplify your system, and can understand your logic, but the dealer's techs do have a fair bit of training and experience with this stuff, and may have...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

How then do you control the deflector? Are you adding another control valve for the deflector circuit from the 3rd function connection?

    FEL work

My 450 lb 5ft boxblade on the 3-point is all that's needed to pin the rear wheels down when trying to raise a forks load at the tractor's lift capacity. The boxblade is plenty enough ballast for my B2650HST carrying max load. Can't lift the rear tires up with it on.

Pros and cons of snow removal options

Drop those blower drag feet to their lower setting when the ground's not frozen yet. That raises the bottom a few inches above the soft ground and avoids a lot of gravel. The bit of snow left behind usually melts in early season snows. But I know that feeling hearing the sound of gravel flying...

Post hole auger questions for a BX2380.

Just a hint to try using the inner lift rod pin holes of the lower arms of the 3-point hitch. That increases the up/down range of the 3-point considerably. I've been using a PH15 on my B2650 and with the lift rods in their regular outer pin hole I can't raise the digger tip above the ground...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Well all I can offer is photos of my B2650HSD ROPS hydraulic lines that connect my BH77 when installed. Hope they help. If more detail needed I'll try and oblige.

    Ghost in the Machine? BH77

Ok, I'm confident you're right, so the load check does what? So there's no pressure on it at all when spool in neutral? Be nice to know more about how these work, and terminology! Load check to me intuitively meant check back pressure when cylinder under load. Obv I dunno!

    Ghost in the Machine? BH77

These valve consist of a valve housing, spool, load check valve, overload relief valve, etc. I'd guess it's the load check valve for the boom lift cylinder that's misbehaving, hopefully stops doing so.

    Ghost in the Machine? BH77

Common sense says.... carry on. The only thing I'm curious about is if there's any difference in that boom sag occurrence, frequency or rate with the hydraulics cold vs hot? Pop off the control valves cover plate and look at the cleanliness, tightness, clearances, and alignment of the control...

    Pallet Forks

Have my Martatch 42" forks on the ssqa most of the time. Model MUPFN, 42" 2000# capacity. I've thrown pretty much everything I can at these forks and they remain rock solid. https://www.martatch.com/pallet-forks

B2650 treadle not fully returning to neutral

Sounds like the hst pedal center holder mechanism is sticking and/or there's a spring missing or broken. Press in on each side of the plastic center hump cover at its bottom back corner and lift the cover off. Photos show the center holder on my 2017 b2650hsd rops tractor. The other pic tries...

    Rear axle lock ?

HINT: if the diff lock isn't engaging, then slowly, BEGIN A SHARP TURN while pressing down on the lock pedal. It'll drop right in as the locking pin hole lines up because the rear wheels are now rotating relative to each other. Then straighten the steering right away, especially if there's good...

    Oil Change

Apparently the Kubota 10W-30 diesel engine oil is a "semi-synthetic" whatever that means. So is the 10w-30 diesel oil I get from Canadian Tire. Minimum CJ-4 is the rating to look for. NowI'm using 5W-40 Rotella T6 and I like it's performance, really cold starts and hot summer workouts both.

Kubota recommends being easy on the tractor the first 50 hours (should I even mow?)

I think just getting used to your brand new machine, like taking it easy because it's all new controls, size of machine, hydraulics responses, etc... for you, and unless you're the go-nuts-and-push-whatever-equipment to-the-max-right-away kind of operator (I've known a couple, they break things)...

    Tips on not

Do always wear the belt with rops up. But take it off rops down. Without the steel barrier above your head you'll be needing to jump off the seat before the tractor goes "tits up" and squishes you while you're trying frantically to undo the belt.

Pros and cons of snow removal options

You missed box scrapers as a very good snow removal "assistant". My 5' box scraper is the "closeup" and difficult corners snow mover, to drag or even push it to a spot the front blower can grab it. It also adds a perfect rear ballast weight for traction. Plus when conditions set up so there's...

What fluids do you use and where do you get them?

Before switching to Rotella T6 5w-40 I had been getting Canadian Tire brand 10w-30 Semi-Synthetic Diesel oil which has the CJ-4 rating, and priced better plus way more convenient. As far as I'm concerned and this is a pure guess, the Kubota 10w-30 is ALSO semi-synthetic CJ-4 oil. No reason to...

What fluids do you use and where do you get them?

Kubota SUDT (or Premium UDT here in Canada) and all filters from Kubota dealer. Don't even bother looking for a "suitable" replacement hyd oil of another brand. The stuff that apparently can do the job is just as expensive as the K brand. Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 for engine oil from wherever...

    lx 2610 loader arm controls

When wearing my tall insulated rubber boots with heavy insulated coverall pants over them, I still do this even after 6 years running this tractor. With regular ankle boots i sense my leg touching the lever before it tilts the bucket down. Or forks. The loader lever is totally shined up by...
