Post Hole Auger, Once Piece At A Time

Got my augers in. And found out I'm missing 2 pieces in my third function kit. Land Pride is sending me them via the dealer, which I then have to pick up. Was hoping to post pictures but don't have time tonite.

No worries man, ask away. :) You can never have too much info. *Ok, sometimes you can*

8 Best Storage Practices for Tractor & Excavator Hydraulic Systems During Winter

Yeah, not sure what i what I was thinking there. Definitely wrong. I did think this one through. :) Some work circuits that were used when the tractor was running can't be relieved with the engine (and pump) still running. Unless of course you actuate the opposite circuit. But then you have...

8 Best Storage Practices for Tractor & Excavator Hydraulic Systems During Winter

I don't know about anyone else, but my tractor still has pressure at idle. I have to turn the engine off and THEN relieve the pressure (which I do every time I turn the machine off). And if you retract one cylinder it usually means you're extending another. *Not sure what I was thinking here...

    Check your tire pressure!

I just learned this now! Great info! Good to know. Doing my 50 hour service the other day made me realize how much harder it is to manhandle a tire full of that stuff. Using it definitely has ramifications I didn't think of....

BX2755HD gear oil fill plug is seized. 11mm bolt, rusted solid. Used blower I dont think the gear oil was ever serviced

Heat and crayons (or canning wax) work wonders. Tough thing with that is you want to heat the hole. Harder to do on a big chunk. Plus you don't want to damage seals.

Is there a link here? I don't see anything.

Pin On Pallet Forks For LA344 Loader?

Jay, that's a great suggestion. Most decent shops up here are a LOT of money. And I don't have time to track down the steel and weld it my self. At least not right now. I may end doing it or I may just order that frame at a later date. One thing at a time. I want to get my auger running first...

Post Hole Auger, Once Piece At A Time

I saw that thread awhile back. I may order one of those at some point but I'm starting with an EA tools auger. See how this thing does before I throw any more big money at it.

    Helical pile implement

If you can mount it to a Skid Steer you can probably mount it to a newer Kubota. Having the power to run it is a different story. The PTO probably won't have the RPMs for this. They're talking about a max of 3600.

Post Hole Auger, Once Piece At A Time

The SA10 was $2200. That's just what you see in my first post. The SSQA mount it attaches to is another $800, but you can also mount it to the Land Pride pallet fork mount, so you don't have to buy the other mount. Which is what I did (or am going to do). Also doesn't include an auger. So not...

Post Hole Auger, Once Piece At A Time

Next piece of the puzzle. Got in my Land Pride third function kit. I'm overdue for my 50 hour service first, before I can install this. Probably gonna take a few days at least. Dan, I'll go over your advice again before I do. Then I just need my augers to test it out!

Pin On Pallet Forks For LA344 Loader?

Speaking of log size, the log in my avatar was so heavy my buddies full size excavator couldn't fully lift it. Had to drag it. Roughly 5 feet at the base, 4 foot diameter 16? 18? foot red oak log. I had to chop the base off so I could mill with a 52" bar.

Pin On Pallet Forks For LA344 Loader?

I'm concerned with how much weight the front suspension and loader arms can handle. Plus associated pivot points.

    Source for JIC Tees?

I do appreciate the warnings. You don't know what I know, and I don't (always) know what I don't know. I am aware there are different types of fittings on the tractor. I'm specifically going to tee into the JIC connections on the lines. Looking quickly it seemed to be the simplest, least...

Pin On Pallet Forks For LA344 Loader?

This isn't for one particular job. Since I'm milling for boards/slabs bigger is better. In general I don't want to cut the log any more than I have to. Thank you (again) for the links and suggestions. I do appreciate it. I'll probably bump that up some too. I'd like to eke every bit I can...

    [BX23S] Snow Plow Ballast

Wasn't in jest. :) So far I don't use anything in the rear except the BH. And it takes up much less space on the back than storing it. I can see where some spaces would be too tight for it though. To each there own. :)

    Source for JIC Tees?

Those aluminum fittings serve a purpose on cars.:) They can be a functional quick easy way to adapt different threads, or make fuel lines when you can't find off the shelf stuff. Just like spoilers they get overused and abused. I thought JIS was metric thread? And BSP was standard thread? My...

    [BX23S] Snow Plow Ballast

Maybe I missed something; what's wrong with using the backhoe as ballast? Even blowing snow you need weight in the rear. My little lawn tractor will sometimes have trouble moving through thick heavy snow, even with tire chains. Leaning back in the seat usually helps. I doubt that would work on...

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I'm at the painting flames stage. Is there a particular color or brand that will give the biggest boost in lifting capacity?
