Ford wants to allow your car to lock you out — and even drive itself to an impound lot or scrapyard — if you miss payments

Before cell phones, when we had REAL wires connecting us...I got several calls on a Friday night. Some gal asking 'where's Johnny'. 1st 3 times I said 'sorry, you have the wrong number'... On the 4th call when she asked 'Where's Johnny ? ", I said 'Oh he just left with that cute blonde..um...

    bx2816 Snowblower.

I know about the glove getting caught!! Fed up I simply used one of those 'knobs' and mounted onto my riding blower chute crank. The knob has a nice bearing inside, unscrews from the steering wheel mounting plate. Slid onto the crank shaft and hasn't fallen off in 2 years...

    Kubota ZD1211 - won't start

sorry but you'll have to follow the wire from the 50 amp fuse to see where it goes.... I 'assume' that the splice is made where the wire 'T's off to the ignition switch ? If the harness is taped ( usual...) you just carefully cut the tape ,peel back a few inches, locate the fat red wire and...

How to clean out a culvert

if a culvert is prone to filling, you put a chain in BEFORE it's plugged up...... 5 years ago city came by,was told they'd unplug neighbour's culvert ( water bypasses flows onto road.) nice guy.. I cut and remove material at both ends, making it easy or the city to insert their backwards tipped...

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

If you want to do it just ONCE, toss in a 24" . The important details are getting rocks upstream as a 'V' to direct all the water into the culvert .Use at least a 12' section (20' is std ). The wider the access, the more stable it'll be over the next 3-5 decades....

    Kubota ZD1211 - won't start

re: The 20 Amp fuse does have continuity from the 50A slow blow and does get 12V when key engaged. That 20 amp fuse should have 12 volts on it without the key 'engaged'. it's live power from the 50 amp which is live from the battery. You CANNOT do 'continuity' tests on that circuit UNLESS...

    Kubota ZD1211 - won't start

YES ! Voltage should be seen at the 20 amp fuse, stop solenoid, OPC and the meter panel. You'll have to 'follow the wire'.. but according to the drawing in the WSM... starts at the fuse, goes to stop solenoid then goes to BOTH the OPC and the meter panel. ...so 4 places that must have 12 volts...

Wiring of air last sprayer on a bx2670

When I added LED 'upper headlights' on my BX23S, I used a 4 channel RF relay unit. About $10, came with 2 key fobs. One fob is on the 'cruise control'( can't fall off' ). 'A' turns on the lights, 'B' control GDO of garage. The 'unit' fits in the lower left ROPS 'base',real close to the factory...

    Trailer loading fail

The 'p' on the tranny is to put IT in 'park', as in 'not in use', it's NOT a 'PARKING BRAKE' for the truck. Trailer is fine for hauling that tractor, gate/ramp looks like it has steel to support the tires. yes, chocks would be nice yes, blocks/jacks would be nice could have pulled the...

    A Quick Grapple Question

I'd have thought the grapple would have been fitted with 'Kubota compatible', aka SAME connectors as a stock Kubota. It doesn't make any sense to change the tractor to fit the grapple.

New BX2380 bucket meets ground unevenly....

A machinest friend measured all 3 tapes (same make/model ) were the same and accurate. His primary concern was the 'tab to tape' rivets. At the time his Mitutoya digicalipes were around $500 each, but they came with interface connector so I cut code for him to do the 'SPC' his client needed on...

How long to idle before it's better to turn off ignition?

If you can load the bucket in under 10 minutes, keep engine running. The amount of fuel burned is tiny compared to the wear and tear on engine, starter, battery, alternator, etc. if you 'start-run-stop-again and again' all day long.
