    You can't wrestle rings on. They will break. If they are not made to the proper gap,which I highly doubt they are you will need a ring grinder as well

    Outside diameter on the sleeve is the issue. You're gonna need piston ring pliers and ring compressor

    The problem is when you start removing metal you make things smaller. Tolerances are now larger. The sleeve is made to be pressed in to fit those Tolerances. You are now making the hole larger which will create larger than designed block bore. The sleeves will not be as tight as they should be.

    Not sure on clearance on that block. But yes, proper tools for the job. Thousands will make the difference if the new liner will even not spin in the block🤷

    You do realize that a hydraulic press, properly used, distributes equal pressure all the way around. It would actually push out easier with a press. Now you have done quite a bit of possible irreparable damage to the block. I'm really beginning to wonder if we aren't all being led on to a bad...

    As bad as those journals look I wouldn't waste time putting bearings on them.

    Let it sit for a few days. Or run isopropyl alcohol through it. The alcohol should grab the water and evaporate it out

    Some stubborn ones, especially exhaust studs, I've actually drilled into the broken part. Drill big enough hole to insert a piece of steel. Sacrifice a drill bit or a large nail little smaller than the drilled hole. Get weld down in the hole around the steel. Then weld a nut to it to turn it out.

    Just FYI. When the chrome caps come off the remaining nut is now either 18.5mm or 19.5 mm. Snap on makes the socket. See attached

    Sounds like your missing ground. Try to ground one of the lights independently. If it works then your on the right track. Trace the grounds in the schematic
