Must have 3 pt or FEL accessories?

Im going to make a couple of small cheap additions I would 100% do on this new tractor. First thing - Spend $16 and get the inner air filter element. The L2501, L3301, L3901 do not come with this element as standard equipment - You only have the outter air filter element. This is a fine air...

    Best attachment I have bought!

The guy in the video posts here on the forums some - Its how I found his channel. He has some nice videos on his channel. But to his carry all, Yes it is very well built. If you watch more of his videos You can quickly tell he is a guy who really takes everything to the finest detail in all he...

Got to use the new box blade

Ah, very good. It looked almost like I was seeing ground threw those little spots on the edge ofthe blade. Nice unit. I went cheap on mine and got the one at tractor supply. Put a good 20 hours or so on it so far clearing woods and its worked great. Love the BB

    Best attachment I have bought!

I like that too! The wood one I linked the video for would be easier for me to do I think given its all wood work. I'm still a very very amateur welder, and only have a small 100amp welder.

    Best attachment I have bought!

I dont know how they make any sales on this thing at $1500. That is just so overpriced in my opinion for a little storage space. You could build something that would carry all the same stuff and be even more functional for literally $300 or so. Id much rather have this: https://youtu.be/as9HlFi1UMo

    What fuel to use

I know a local farmer who owns multiple big JD tractors got several all at once that had water in the gasoline. He traced it back to the fuel pump. We are in a rural area, and the off road diesel at some of these stations sits there a while. Many tractor owners here I know run regular highway...

Got to use the new box blade

My most used implement so far for sure is the box blade. I love it. In the pictures it almost looks like the blade is damaged on yours, or perhaps its just a little wet/dirt spot, but it looks like the edge of the blade is damaged/chipped in the pictures. If that is the case I hope he got a...

Just pulled the trigger - L3901

very nice. You will love the L3901. It is far more capable than the little BX you are leaving behind. Be sure to share some pics of it when you get it, and be a regular contributor here to the forums. We love to discuss what we are working on, any mods you do, etc etc. Merry Christmas to you...

    R3 or R4 tires on L3901?

The R4's do look better imo, and they have more rubber in the tire. There is more ground contact area with the R4. Its a smooth ride on hard compacted ground or even cemet/asphalt. R1 tires are thinner, and have the more aggressive tread design. For a full on agriculture tractor warking a farm I...

Tractor Purchase Not Working Out, Getting Stressed

Im with the others here. You need to go with your gut or you will never be happy. If I were you I would have likely already backed out of this deal. I think I would pull out of the deal. I would simply be honest and open with the dealer. I would tell him that the whole excercize has just turned...

    R3 or R4 tires on L3901?

I would never go with R3 Turf Tires on a tractor, so Id rule them out immediately. You mention R4 industrial tires didn't do well on your BX. I would simply add that your BX is a MUCH lighter tractor than you will have in the L3901. Weight plays probably the biggest role in traction when you're...

Different LandPride units - quality or upsell?

On your rotary cutters, they are both extremely similar. The RCF2072 is slightly heavier at 745lbs, vs 737lbs of the RCR1872. Looking at the pictures, I want to say the RCF2072 is likely the model that moves a lot of the support on the underside of the deck. In pictures you notice it has a...

    Fan

Lots of videos Ive seen on youtube regarding this fan as well. Seems its very common. Honestly Kubota should address it on those tractors with some design improvements. A little plastic fan like this, easily to destroy and then a real pain to replace.

    Is the Bigtoolrack Worth It?

Had never heard of it until this thread, but checked it out. Website looks nice. products looks interesting, until I looked at the prices..... Way over priced for what it is. $1500 for the carry all? really? That is borderline insane if you ask me. I know it says its made of steel, not sheet...

B2601 Delivered with no transmission oil

God putting myself in your shoes in this situation......I wouldnt want this tractor now Im not gonna lie. Spent thousands of dollars on a brand new machine, then to have this happen. I would express my dissatisfaction to the dealer at what happened, and see if he steps up to right the wrong...

    Rear fender electric plug limitations

Good enough for what I want to do. I want 2 lights. One facing forward, one backwards. Not looking for anything crazy bright, just some additional flood lights to navigate at night. I rarely use the tractor at night, but the few times I did, I made it ok with the front lights but they are...

    Rear fender electric plug limitations

Ok very good info guys thanks. So according to the info here I should not exceed 120 watts in lights, correct? To be safe I would assume to not push that threshold either, perhaps 100 watts maximum.

    Rear fender electric plug limitations

why would this mean I need to be careful? Im not a mechanic so I legitimately dont know what the concern there would be. Happy to be informed :)

    Rear fender electric plug limitations

Thats what I suspected it was for. Any idea on what the limitation would be on that line? How much wattage could you put on it? If I could install a switch after that plug I might would do that, that would be simple enough. A switch that I could maybe just mount right near the lights themselves...
