    Loss of Power?

Did you use Kubota Super UDT 2 hydraulic oil sold only by Kubota dealers? It is mighty cold in NH in the winter, and if you used anything other than the Kubota Super UDT, it is much too heavy for your machine. Same with filters. Store-bought filters might cross-reference and fit, but they...

Just bought a repo BX23S on auction (title edited)

Check everything on the tractor, including nuts bolts, fluid levels, antifreeze, etc. Since this is a repossession, you have no idea if the previous owner might have sabotaged the machine prior to it being recovered. Ask your dealer for a copy of a pre-delivery inspection list. If you get...

    Hydraulic upgradable rear blade?

You would just need a longer cylinder, but the longer the cylinder, the more likely it is that you will bend it by accident. the nice thing about hydraulic retrofit is that you could design it to be easily removable when you want it to be in manual mode.

Looking for a B2672 Snow blade

I have a very deep-seated aversion to using salt anywhere on the driveway. I have been known to throw down some play sand if there is an icy patch. Once you start using salt on the driveway, it makes it much more difficult to keep rust from forming on your equipment and cars. I do my best to...

    BX2200 value

In todays market, between $8000 - $10000. It isn't worth buying a used tractor if you have good credit and can afford to make the payments on a new tractor. I got $13500 for my BX22 and it originally sold for $16000. It had a 60" belly mower deck that was well used and a 48" front snowblower...

Just bought a repo BX23S on auction (title edited)

If the Kubota dealership is doing the pre-delivery setup as outlined by Kubota, you wouldn't have to do this. Unfortunately, most of the dealers are not doing set up as they should, and this is leading to customer complaints.

I throw oil-soaked kitty litter into the fire to get rid of the clay. Burns with some very interesting colors.

    lx2963 vs lx2980 snowblowers

Kubota makes a diverter valve to operate the chute hood. I would spend the extra money and get a 3rd function valve by LandPride and use that in place of the one that Kubota sells. You can buy the parts for the chute hood actuator from open stock parts on the Messicks Kubota website. All...

    Block Heater

Block freeze plugs are never screwed into the block, they are always a press fit. If his block has a threaded plug, then it was purposely made that way to accommodate a block heater. If using Teflon of any type, you have to be careful not to overtighten it when installing the block heater...

    RTV900 Cab Heater Installation Instructions

Contact Curtis Industries in West Boylston MA, and ask them if they supplied the cab and heater for that model Kubota. If they did, they are able to send you a PDF of the installation instructions.

    B2782 problems

Remove the set screw and clean the parts with brake cleaner. Wait for the cleaner to evaporate, and then reassemble everything, and use Locktite on the set screw. I believe that what you are referring to as the shear pin, might be a keyway, and that isn't supposed to shear even under extreme...

Mirrors on a BX, no FEL

My future project is to put a backup camera on my tractor and to install those little sensors all around the tractor that will give an audible sound when you come close to something, just like an automobile. Once I finish that project, I am thinking of a heated seat, and possibly a heated...
