Hooked up Battery wrong now wont start

So let's get this straight. Original battery went dead. Then you replaced it, but hooked it up backwards (+ to - and - to +)? Now after fixing that, and replacing a blown fuse, you get nothing? Nothing as in what? Any lights work? Everything work but no cranking? When you turn the key to...

    Wanted g2160

Had one, couldn't get rid of it quick enough. Good mower, I just didn't like it. Not at all.

    HST Pedal Stiff... FEL Weak

There is a power steering pump? News to me. Never heard of it on the L3200/3800. Only one pump that I'm aware of. Where is this power steering pump? On your FEL issue. Try moving your 3 point hitch control lever to the down position. If that doesn't help, turn engine off and run your hand...

Adding Rear Remotes to an L3010

On some Kubota's, that's basically how they install their OEM Kubota remote valves. Thing is, though, you need to know which hoses to use, most Kubota's are an open center system-with 3 main hoses going to the loader. Use the wrong hose, and you can experience loss of hydraulic power to the...

    Kubota UDT substitute

And what specification is it that they say that it meets? Viscosity? My goodness I can mix engine oil and diesel and get similar viscosity and if that's the only specification that I have to meet, then I met it.

How do I set the rocker arm assembly?

Screw Kubota's way of adjusting valves. It's the hard way. I have always used the EOIC method. Exh opening intake closing (that's what EOIC stands for). Choose a cylinder. #1 for example. Turn the engine over in it's normal direction of rotation until the exhaust valve JUST starts to open...

    Kubota UDT substitute

News to me; and I work closely with Kubota. It may be MADE by Valvoline, but that doesn't mean that the valvoline that you buy at TSC or wherever else is the same stuff. I have a M9540HDC in the shop right now. The owner complains that when the tractor is cold, it will not move. Put it in...

    Bing Bang Pow!

The crank is scrap. Having had some cranks repaired before, they never last. And they were repaired by reputable shops. One being Hank the Crank and another Crankshaft Specialties....these guys know their stuff and they still didn't get the service life out of them that I'd expect. Most...

    2360 Not Running In Cold

This stuff is all greek to me....I feel sorry for y'all in the great white North. But at the same time I like to watch threads like this because it's knowledge that would otherwise be foreign to me.

    L2501 would not start today!

The seat switch is not in the starting circuit, or at least I don't' think it is? Anyone want to verify this? On the HST tractor, just push the clutch pedal down and it should start as long as the PTO is off and HST pedal in neutral.

    B2910 Salvage Machine - Rebuildable?

The price is fair. But there's a fair amount of work/labor. Do you have time, place, and will power to do all that work? Myself, as much pain as I have on a daily basis, working on stuff is becoming a real pain...thus if I can afford it and NEED it, I'll try to get one already...

Is this supposed to move? FEL

It allows the loader boom to flex a little while being used; without binding the cylinders. It also allows for manufacturing tolerance. Some rubber shims would still allow some flexibility but would likely quiet it's operation down.

    Code p3008 on M6

Cam position sensor fault. Suspect wiring, connector corrosion, perhaps the sensor itself. Yes they are universal OBD II codes but Kubota has a little different wording for them.

How to Determine Year tractor was made?

B7100 #66850 was originally sold April 1993. I know someone who works at a dealer and gave him that model and serial, and that's what the returned info was. Kubota tractors don't have official year models.

Is this supposed to move? FEL

I know a guy (an engineer of all things) who put shims in there to "quiet" it down. I suppose it can be done but I don't see it to be a problem, unless you're an engineer and everything has to be "just right".

    7060 starting problems

Dern if I can remember how, but there's a way to go into the self-diagnostic function in the panel. There is on the 3301/3901, but I cannot remember for the life of me if the 7060 has this function...I want to say it does. I'll research it. Turn the headlights on. Try to crank the engine...

    Cab Suspension Issues

They'll take 70psi....Seen this happen. But within a minute or so, just enough time for the guy to walk back to the toolbox to put up the air chuck and tire gauge, it blew....and let me tell you, he was lucky he wasn't any closer. The shockwave was felt 1/4 mile away-and I say this because the...

bevel gear/ring gear matching set replacement

I've had request from customer in the past, they wanted me to replace the pinion only and leave the new ring gear in the bag and just give it to them....for time constraints only. Why I don't understand because the ring gear has to come out to replace the pinion. But anyway...did what was...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Was at wal mart the other day getting some groceries (and cat food). Get to the check out line and there's a trio of ladies in front of me, 1 paying for their stuff, the other standing there, and the last one was holding what I thought was a baby. But as I got closer, I seen she had some sort...

    L3240, It jerks in reverse

Get a couple new filters for the transmission and hydraulic system. There is one of each, one on the right side is hydraulic and left side is HST filter. Remove old filters. Install new. Cut old filters open and have a look-see what's in side. If you see lots of brass material, you may want...
