PTO moves at high rpm when disengaged

I need to back up.... Last tractor I had apart had hydraulic PTO....and I was thinking of that tractor and not a 2910. One I was thinking of was a M8540HDC. There isn't a hydraulic clutch on the 2910. Mechanical. Thus, the only reason I can think that it might be turning at higher RPM is...

    hst problem

Yes. Replaced HST assembly. I eyed the possibility of rebuilding it but the HST internals were so worn, damaged, broken that it was more feasible to replace it as an assembly. It was not cheap though. I want to say $5500 but it's been a few years.

Does 2015 Kubota l series have diagnostic port?

I also forgot to mention that the port for the diagmaster connection is a royal pain in the butt to get to on the L3301 and L3901. Most of the rest of them are easy, but for whatever reason, they wanted to bury them on the 3301/3901. It's behind the key switch, wound up in the rest of the...

PTO moves at high rpm when disengaged

91" mower? Did I read that correctly? The PTO clutch also has a brake built into it. The brake is responsible for stopping the shaft from turning. With a big mower, you have a lot inertia when turning off the mower. When you turn it off, the heavy weight of the blades will continue to...

    Idle speed

They were a little lower than most. 750 RPM, as I remember.

Does 2015 Kubota l series have diagnostic port?

Yes, all of the common rail electronically fuel injected Kubota's will have a diagnostic port. They call it a diagnostic connector. A traditional scan tool doesn't fit it, however. The ONLY tool that works for Kubota diagnostic is Diagmaster, which is PC or laptop software, and IIRC, you need...

    Kubota ZG227 (no crank)

I would like to find one of those ZG200 mowers like that, bad engine. I have 5 engines at work, all ran, used oil though. 222 and 227 engines both, couple of each-and I think a 327 engine too.

    6o in mower decks

The wheels on contact decks will leave "tire marks" in the turf. On softer ground, those wheels will dig like you wouldn't believe. They're supposed to caster/turn as the tractor turns, often times they get stuck, worn out, broken, etc and then your cut quality suffers drastically. Also, to...

    Info to save ?

There are errors in the conversions, and omissions. 3/8 and 10mm are not interchangeable. Not at all. And 27mm is omitted, which is a pretty common size among Kubota equipment. 17mm is also omitted; also VERY common size in most Japanese equipment. I can tell you which wrenches interchange...

L2800 Clutch and clutch pedal rods

Agreed. I find it MUCH more common to have to replace clutches on the gear drive tractors than on the HST's. Sometimes the clutch kits for the gear tractors are more expensive too.

    BX Inner Air Filter

Because the RTV's are designed to run in an off-road situation, like most ATV's are. Also, the RTV doesn't pull "clean" air (well the RTVX's do but we're not talking about those). The BX pulls cleaner air in from behind the radiator. Don't overthink it. You're FAR more likely to overheat the...

    BX24 Draft control knob seized

The only knob I can think of is the one below your left calf. That's the depth stop for the mowing deck. If you don't have a belly mower, that knob has no affect on the operations of the 3ph.

    BH77 Broken pin

A0539 is not affected. IIRC A1200 was the last of the BH77's with the "recall"; but this is a 6 year old bulletin and you're best bet is to contact a dealer. There weren't that many affected serial #'s.

    Ditching the dish?

When I moved into my house, I moved here with a change of clothes and about $11 to my name. That was IT. I slept on the floors for a few weeks, hit up some garage sales after the sale was over for some clothing, etc. I didn't have a TV. My mom came by one evening and I was sitting on a...

    BX Inner Air Filter

Agreed. Gotta remember that the air going into a diesel engine also cools the engine's internal components. Restriction is harder on the engine taxing an already odd cooling system setup (engine in backwards).

    Daytona 500

Racing in general is boring to watch, at least to me. I'd just as soon show up in person. Specifically the drag races since the circle track stuff bores me to no end. Locally, car and spectator counts are down. Some of it is the weather. Some of it is due to money or lack of it. Some of it...

    Press Brake

what kind of press is that? I am in the market for a press since my old one was given away without my consent. Old one came from a chinese tools store, looks like the one in your picture. All the new stuff I've found are all about identical to the HF 20t press, and all that I've seen are...

    alternator upgrade?

That winch has a 5% duty cycle, so you can winch like 45 seconds and then you're supposed to stop and wait approx 15 minutes to let the motor cool down. If followed, you won't have any battery problems to worry about. Use the factory battery but you'll have to figure out how to do the cables...

12 volt drain on my ZD28F

If this is what's happening, you likely don't have a drain. You likely have a charging system issue. Drain and no-charge are two different animals! What is your battery voltage with the engine running full throttle? Use your digital volt meter. To recap. The mower uses a little juice to...
