Hi , new guy from New Zealand . Just purchased a L1-265 4cyl kubota sunshine . 1500 hours , everything original and absolutely mint . No damage , even original tyres though starting to perish a bit with age .
My question : attaching a kubota front end loader and not too many problems. I cant work out what the bolts are that attach the side support frames to the block . Haven't been able to get a manual so any help appreciated .
Cheers Lloyd

Well Bigeesy (Lloyd),

You are certainly fortunate to have found a vintage tractor in such good condition. I do not have much to offer yet, but here is a link with some information.

I will let you know if I find anything else.

Cheers back at you (Although when we New Englanders hear "Cheers" we think of a pub in Boston, MA

Good luck:):)

Suggest measuring the thread diameter, pitch and depth of the threaded blind hole in the frame, add the thickness of the FEL frame, add the thickness of a lock washer and get the longest grade 12.9 metric bolt that won't bottom out. Make sure to chase and clean the threaded holes using a thread restorer. When installing consider a thread locker and torque to specifications. when finished use a white paint pen and mark horizontal or vertical lines on the bolt heads, a quick look will tell you if any fasteners are loosening. Good luck

That's a beaut! Looks about the same age as mine but yours is in far better condition.
On mine, the rear part of the loader is attached to the frame using bolts with a long flat section which is slid through from the front and nuts tightened at the rear. I have no idea what these bolts are called even though I came across the name once. I'll snag a photo tomorrow when I am near the tractor

Hi, figured out the attachment bolts needed are 14mm , 1.25 fine thread , high tensile . They are not readily available here so getting them made .
Frame support welded and modified (pretty simple ) so once I have the bolts the loader will be attached and then given to the hydraulic specialist to run the lines and set up the bank
Thanks for the help , another problem solved
Cheers, Lloyd.
