What size would you rate the L3800 with 39hp

Most tractor dealers rate their tractors something like this sub compact, compact. standard and go on from there. So having said that where would my L3800 with 38 or 39 horses fallin?.Frank

I think it comes down to perspective. I have a 63 JD 2010, it's only 35 hp but makes my L3800 look very small. Now if you were only used to say the lawn tractor size, the L3800 will seem huge.

To me the L3800 is a compact tractor but I've had non tractor people say it was really big.

I agree. But will add, the L3800 is impressive for it's size!

Without a doubt...

My 2010 doesn't hold a candle to my L3800.

Even with a rebuilt engine and the numerous other improvements I did to it.
