Adding A tach?? Can it be done?

Hi,

Got a Muscateer AATV amphibious atv 6x6 like an Argo that I"m going to install a Kubota ZB600C-1 engine into. A 2 cyl water cooled diesel engine!

I'm wanting to add a tach and would like to know HOW to do that???

Anyone????

Thanks, I think that's just what I needed. It is similar in function the the Kent Moore J33300 timing meter I use to time diesel engines. Which I'll be testing on the Kubota to see how the timing is on it too!

It "reads" the pulses in the high pressure line between the injector pump and the injector, similar to the electrical signal that would be in a spark plug wire on a gas engine.
