I'm in the market for a 72" finish mower. Just took delivery of my L3200 HST maybe a month or so ago. I started combing CL and came across this ad. This combination is nearly the price of a new mower? Almost got me thinking... if I had this, I'd never have to take my FEL off to mow... just use this one.

Yeah, I would not want the tractor, but it might be a good way to get a free mower. Kind of a hassle though...

I paid $450 for a 60" Woods finish mower a year ago. Deals are out there it you are patient.

If you have a use and it makes life a little easier and you can afford it why not have another tractor and mower. Maybe the bigger tractor can lend a helping hand doing some other grunt work the Kubota may not be able to do. Never hurts to have a back up tractor either incase one goes down.

Id like to have something of that size and I'm fine with having a gasser, would love one with a loader to do the grunt work.

Buy it, sell the tractor as states above.

Two tractors equals double the maintenance.

Or just wait and find another finish mower.

I bought a 72" cut for $250, put another $75 in, and now I mow my yard in 1.5hrs instead is 3hrs.

I wasn't sure if I would like using it on my yard so I didn't want to buy a new one right away. I'm going to use the old one as long as possible, then upgrade to a close to new or new one, when it's time.

I just noticed you bought an HST, once you mow with that HST you'll never want to use a standard trans again.

Just my opinion of course! You'll get a lot of those in here....

I know it's just your opinion, but that is not true for everyone! ;)

He who dies with the most toys wins, and you can never have too many toys! There is not that much added maintenance or expese on another tractor.

Take the path that works best for you, if you can afford the Massey and have a use for it buy it.

I don't know if having the most toys wins but I would take 2 tractors over 1 any day. I have never seen 1 tractor that was perfect for everything. I have 2 now and the only thing that keeps me from having 3 or 4 more is my wallet.

That little massey might be a handy addition to your fleet. If nothing else it will help keep hrs down on your Kubota.

They are tough, too. Tractors don't seem to depreciate, either. You could use it for a while and sell it for what you paid.
