LA 525 Loader Control Valve

Hi,need assistance in replacing the knob on the control rod of the loader valve.

Ordered a new one, assumed that the knob was threaded on but obviously not, does anyone out there have any experience replacing these, I don't want to just start hammering on it to beat the knob off as there isn't an obvious way to keep it back on the new one either.

It is a slip fit. Pull/pound it off.

You may want to try heat on the plastic also.

FYI I think this is your machine.....
If it's #120, looks like a 'press fit'. As the King said, a little heat,try to twist and pull ??
