Herculiner Qt. (by JB Weld), on Amazon,......$32.34Looks nice.
I would probably add some "Skate Board" tape, or paint the topside with truck "bed liner paint" to add some "slip protection"
The Rustolem bed liner paint at Wally world works pretty good for 20 bucks a Quart (or half gallon..... I can remember)
Never knew that there was a "kubota factory step". Picture please. ThanksI would agree 25 years ago when I got my first BX but now at 81 with some leg issues I think the step is great and I have a kubota factory step on mine , no I don‘t run a middle mower
Every time I seen images of someone who'd mounted a toolbox, for the most, they were great ideas. Problem being, most installs were not on the 23S model. Those methods could not be used, so I had to get creative. I wanted the largest box possible "within" what space was available, without bolting to paint or hanging beyond the WB. Then one day at the scrapyard I found the stuff to make steps. Next I knew, lights come on in my head, and the brain slobbered on me with this idea. It worked as I envisioned. It's been almost a year since "this idea" come to fruition. That looks awesome man.
Great idea to have kept it "within wheel base" area and I like how it's "back and out of the way"
Nice looking welds too....,
"81"......young,......ex F-4 driver!I would agree 25 years ago when I got my first BX but now at 81 with some leg issues I think the step is great and I have a kubota factory step on mine , no I don‘t run a middle mower
I’m off to take my wife to a doctors appointment I’ll try and get a picture this afternoonNever knew that there was a "kubota factory step". Picture please. Thanks
I'll have to get the dimensions for you tomorrow, I just come in from outside. The last mowing. What are the dimensions of the step and the back section? With these dimensions it will be possible for me to duplicate the step on a metal brake. I am thinking that I can make this out of diamond plate and it will work out well for my BX23S.
