Hope you feel better soon...Thanks all for the get well wishes and sharing of stories. You mean I'm not the only one who does stupid things?? I decided to post my mis-adventure as a general reminder to everyone to be safe and know your limits. It may be a while before the doc clears me to drive and Bota, which compounds the misery. I'd gladly trade 8 hours of couch time for 30 minutes of tractor time. It only follows that I'd rather have a free bottle in front of me than a pre-frontal lobotomy ... (sorry for that, but this is the off-topic forum).
Have a safe & productive weekend.
I'm with you except. . . if I have a full body harness on then I'm a hero on a tower. Without it, 2 steps on a step ladder are my limit.I don't do heights any more, nor ladders more than a couple of steps. I don't bounce worth a damn any more.
At my age....I'm so brittle that if I took a fall like the OP....they 'Never would get me put back together again', so I try not to get Humpty-Dumpited.Humpy Dumpty sat on a wall,,,, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,,,, all the kings horses and all the kings men,, had a large western omelet for breakfast
