I have a new to me BX2200 which has a leaking seal at the front transmission cover. I am curious if anybody has tackled removing the front case cover and putting a new sealant in? As you can see in the pictures, I am tore down to what you see. I’ve power washed it and used the powder method trick to pinpoint the leak location showing that it’s in fact the front case cover seal. Also curious if this can be done without removing the entire rear unit as I don’t have the means to safely lift it out at this time. Local Kubota dealer recommended attempting a JB Weld fix if I wanted to bandaid it, although I’d rather get it fixed the correct way. Thanks in advance.
