G1800 owner and low on fluid, see Super Tech label says Kubota UTD on back. Mine has spin off filter no strainer, thoughts? Runs good just checked today and low. $24 gal

Tractor Supply premium is much cheaper than that. Like $75 for 5 gallons.

I found 2 gal Traveller for $28 for 2 gal.

Call me a snob, but I would not touch either of those fluids for my 2006 Kubota HST tractor.

Considering the cost of the equipment, I use nothing but oem fluids and filters. To me it is just not worth the risk.

WalMart SuperTech is not UDT. Tractor Supply Universal Tractor Fluid…is also not UDT.

UDT is a Kubota name-brand. Those others do not claim to be UDT….They claim to be “suitable” for tractors that call for UDT. That’s not the same thing.

Neither of those UTTOs ts going to harm the tractor. They are roughly equivalent to UDT but they are NOT equivalent to SUDT2.

His tractor never specified a Kubota oil. It predates the introduction of UDT and came with a more honest recommendation

Yes, I have the huge manual and all it says is Multigrade. I do believe I will go with Traveller. This model was made from 1989-2000 Spin on filter no strainer if that helps. Thx

Any decent quality Universal Tractor Transmission Oil. Just like engine oil lots of different brands.
