B7300 axle cener pivot

How do you set the lash on the 4wd center axle pivot. I realize you set it with the bolt and jam nut on the front. What is the proceedure.

I'm trying to dodge that expense and i don't want something else to keep up with. Just wondering if you tighten it up so much with a torque wrench or tighten it up an back off some amount, then lock the jam nut down. I'm already to that stage.

The closest I could come up with is 11.2-22.5ft/lb for a b2350. I'm gonna jack it up and let the axle swing and put about 15 or 16 ft/lbs on it and let it ride. Thanks
