That was my original plan. I purchased a convex 8" dia. mirror and I could not get enough angle when mounted on the guard to see the cutter. Then I though maybe I needed a sharper angle in the mirror, like maybe a boat mirror, but decided to get a camera so I could aim it directly where I need it.hmm... could you just mount a mirror at the top of the 'A' and adjust to see the cutter ?
Around $300 for a 7" monitor and two cameras seems reasonable. This FXT model is a candidate for sure. There's even a Kubota orange model available. And since the monitor can be used with up to four cameras, perhaps one monitor and four cameras would cover both tractors.Sorry about that!
Don't you just love it when you have to play games to discover the price of something?I saw this company on GoodWorksTractors YouTube channel this morning. They were at the National Farm Machinery Show in Kentucky. Their products seem quite expensive compared to FTX but perhaps they're better quality.
