some weird/odd stuff the other day, dunno if it's moon phase related or what.
Went fishing saturday. It's the time of year where I won't go much because of the weather. I get cold easy and I hate being cold. My fingers don't function when they're cold. I can't turn the key in the truck to start it if that tells you anything and its only gotta be about 45 degrees to make that happen.
anyway with the current water temps and conditions they should be DEEP, like 20+ feet. I found a few deep, mostly smaller LM bass and one small crappie. I seen some activity around some rocks in the shallows and was tired of catching LM bass (which are trash fish, IMO) so I thought I'd try casting a rooster tail over there. It was maybe a foot deep, at the most. Bingo, found 'em. Caught 21 crappie in about a half hour, a few hybrids, and a couple whites. Should NOT be that shallow right now. Moon phase? Don't know.
What I do know is that some weird stuff has been happening. My Mustang, I pushed it back about 5 feet in the shop and left it while I swept under it. Had the dust pan, leaned down to pick up the junk, next thing I know the car's rolling backwards. Tried to catch it but it ran over my left leg and the door swung open and mashed the door against the overhead door frame as it tried to roll out the door. Destroyed the car door. It's not going to be a cheap nor easy fix either. If my leg wasn't hurting I'd have been much more heartbroken but at the moment the leg was more important. Why the car rolled I have no idea. It had set there for a good 4 or 5 minutes while I swept and then for no reason rolled back as if I'd pushed it some more--but I was nowhere near it. The wind wasn't blowing. Fans were off. No earthquakes no tornadoes I don't know what the deal was. Full moon did it I guess.
