I have a b26 that I was using to push leave piles out of the way. I had the bucket up and used it to push the top of the pile. The joystick would no longer tilt. I brought it down and took to the garage. It also eventually affected all movements of bucket and hoe. I took covers off and noticed a square pivot arm preventing the up and down above the valve that allows side to side movement of the joystick. There was also small pool of fluid around connection. I jiggled a while trying to release it. not sure what I did, but the square lever moved up and allowed me to move bucket again. I thought fixed. All back together and took back to do more and it did the same thing.
fluid level is good. The three point arm was up. Moved it back down. It didn’t do anything though.

Lube those joystick linkages.

I did that, nothing changed. It is the square linkage comes down and won’t let the joystick move sideways. It limits the up movement of the linkage. I need to know what that square linkage is and what causes that that to move down like it does

What loader is on your machine? Kubota parts online says TL500. Here is the joystick parts breakdown

Yes to the tl500 loader. It’s not in the linkage. There is a square stock lever on the side of where the linkage goes into the valve. The square lever comes down to prevent the linkage pulling up the valve.

It sounds like you are describing a joy stick lock. Have you consulted the operators manual for the loader?

#270 in the figure is the lock lever. If that isn't what is causing your issue, post a pic.
