How do you put your stamp on a letter ?

I had to run to the local PO for stamps, and I was BSing with the girl behind the counter , while putting stamps on some bills. I handed them to her and she said OH you do that too! I asked what do you mean, she said your flag stamps you have them upside down, and she smiled. I asked you mean other people put the flag stamps upside down too. She said you would not believe how many people do that, and it started when BHO was in office. Then it went away when DJT took over, and now since JB is in it has come back again big time. Seems people are protesting with the mail now,, go figure

And im sure we are being put on a "watch" list because of it.

Why not do electronic bill pay, its much easier and all the googles and scammers already have access to your info anyway.

I put a 2-cent stamp on the envelope without a return address and that way the recipient has to pay the postage due. Give it a try and see how well it works!

I put stamps on however they come out my hand with the exception of a flag stamp.

If you don't want the mail don't accept it. The PO is supposed to return it to the sender, however, oftentimes if it's considered "junk" mail by the PO they trash it.

Write "FREE " where the stamp goes, and make up an APO/FPO return address, worked for me during the gulf war. Lol

Flag ?? All my stamps still have Santa on them since that's the only time of year I ever buy them.

I ended up with some hobbit themed ones at one point. Felt silly using them for Xmas cards. But figured what the heck

Not only lick the stamps but lick all the envelopes. Why buy a sponge when you had kids ?
Hate to think of how many S&H green stamps I licked and put in the books for mom. I am sure most of our x-mass presents came from those catalogs.
