Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to owning a tractor. I bought a 2006 Kubota 2230 with a loader and back blade a few months ago...runs great, no issues until today.
I noticed a small oil spot below the oil pan and did some looking around under there and really didn't see a significant source. I cleaned it all up and ran the tractor for 30 minutes or so and shut it down with some cardboard under the pan. After about 10 minutes I noticed the same small blip of oil on the cardboard. After another look I can't tell if it's the oil pan (I don't think it's the plug), but it may be those rigid stainless lines that run under the pan with color coded tape. It almost looked like one of the couplings may be leaking a bit.
I'm hoping it's not the pan gasket. Any thoughts or direction would be appreciated.

Its a 20 year old machine so oil spotting is not unusual. You need to:
  1. Find the source of the oil leak
  2. Determine how much oil is leaking

Reminds me of the old Navy helicopter joke.

Civiluan Passenger : "Hey pilot - theres a hydraulic leak coming from the overhead"

Navy Pilot: "Dont worry thats normal - just let me know if it stops...."
