Decided our current Bad Boy Maverick is not a good choice for our property a few weeks ago and stared looking for a SCUT. It’s a beast but a bad match for our property. Sold the Simplicity in my profile to help fund it. Will sell the 2019 Maverick shortly. Only about 100 hours on it. Of course I over researched, that’s how I found this site. Looked at the Kioti, M-F and Kubota, leaning towards the Kubota from the start. The Kioti dealer had one larger one in stock. Quality and finish looked good. No idea when SCUT inventory would be in. Same with M-F. Both dealers helpful. The Kubota dealer had a BX 1880 in stock that we considered but I did not like the PTO hp and decided the 2380 was the one I wanted. About a week later I asked the dealer to work up quotes and says a 2680 just arrived, ordered before the price increases. What the heck, He quoted that also. I got that for virtually the current 2380 price. Got the pinned FEL and 54” deck. Go to sign the paperwork today. Weird set of events, I found out the salesman sold a 2670 to a friend of my wife a few years ago. Knowing him, I know he got a good price also. He loves it.

I would really look into the SSQA (skid steer quick attach) for the loader, opens up a ton of options.

Love my bx2380. Had no need for more HP ($$) of a 2680 but wouldn't have said no to get a 2680 at nearly the same price as a 2380.As it was, I think it was maybe $2k+ more and none in stock.

I second this statement. I wouldn't have a loader on the farm without one on it.
Dang peer pressure. I called and the dealer can add the quick hitch. I went back and forth before I told the dealer I wanted the tractor with pins because the added weight of the adapter takes away from the bucket load capacity but the Orangetractortalk pressure was just too great! Don’t see me using it but you never know. Plus if I ever sell, should recoup the added cost. Change in plans and we will sign the papers Thursday. They should have it ready by then.

I see a set of pallet forks in your future.

I wouldn't have bought my FEL w/o a SSQA. So far, I have the bucket and as of 2 days ago, the pallet forks.
Just those 2 items alone are worth the slightly less lift capacity compared to a pin-on.

You will be glad you went with the quick attach bucket. I don't use the loader a lot on my MX6000 so I leave the bucket off to reduce weight when I am spot spraying. Just the other day I needed to load a pallet for a guy. Skid loader was at another farm fifteen miles away. I put the forks on the MX and loaded the pallet up.

"Quick Hitch" or "Skid Steer Quick Attach"? They are two different things. The QH goes on the 3PH to ease the chore of picking up and dropping attachments on the rear. The SSQA goes on the loader arms to speed swapping out buckets, forks and things up front.

Just quietly, if the only additional implement you want is pallet forks, you can get the pin-on quick attach. It's a proprietary quick attach like the John Deere one, but you give up less capacity and don't need to modify your implements. I got one for my B2601, and it's excellent. No, I can't put on arbitrary implements, but there aren't a lot of implements that can go on a B-sized tractor anyway.
