I have an opportunity to buy a 2001 BX2200 tractor mower no loader. 1000 hours. what would be a good price ? Estate sale of 42 acre farm coming up few miles from me. O hear you guys rave about these little tractors my reason I'm looking. Don't "need" it but if price is right maybe I do. LOL

I would go to Tractorhouse.com and see what that tractor is listed for on average and make an offer of half that amount.

Hours are fine - may or may not have any maintenance records however.

Anything below 6k is somewhat reasonable depending on condition - 4.5K would be a "good" price.

IMO - if you can get it for less than 4.5K - I would buy it, above 6K I would walk away - unless it is in perfect shape.

Thanks....not sure yet, they want to do a auction now. Parceling property equipment.
House is very old small but will be on 5 acre parcel with the full functional dairy farm buildings etc...then other 37 acres seperate. Lots of big equipment. Tnis must have been lawn tractor only. Heirs wanting auction though instead of outright sale. 4 30 so we will see

Don't know your area but around here I wouldn't even waste my time going to the auction. There will be no bargains there.
