Just wondering if anyone has used it in their diesel? Any issues? Any input good or bad. Price is great found 2 gal jugs for $32.99. So anyway just curious about it.
I was curious why the ad states it cannot be shipped to the state of California. There's a "proposition 65" warning on the label. That led me down the Google rabbit hole. It seems used motor oil is on California's naughty list, although re-refined oil is not. It's also interesting that while the branding calls it "full synthetic" the fine print on the label states "Petroleum motor oil" and the boiler plate includes a number of warnings from other jurisdictions about chemicals associated with used motor oil.

I suspect it is used oil and the "select additive system" are viscosity improvers added to make it hit the right numbers when they filter it and put it in the pail.

But that's just a guess.

All oils are petroleum products of some type or another. If you look at many things not just engine oil it cannot be shipped to CA.

I have not used that oil but found this.

Citgo
Citgo is a Venezuelan State-Owned Oil company and for that reason I never buy any of their products. (Although they “claim” to be no longer associated with dictator Nicolás Maduro…. I do not believe everything they advertise…nor do I support state-owned corporations.)
