What are my wheel spacer options on a 2022 LX2610. With a 60" belly mower?

I know 3 people that got killed in tip overs. I've been running tractors for 45 years - but so had they. The seat belt and rops are nice additions to what we had years ago.

You need to look at the tires and parts of the deck that stick out backwards beyond the tires. IF you measure that distance you know the maximum spacer width you can use.

A wider spacer will cause the tires to hit the deck components. Also, allow a little distance for the mower deck to shift sideways during use...

Yep. No deck yet. On order.

I went with the stock kubota spacers on my LX2610 ( 1.5 inch per side) and the dealership told me that even that much I would not be able to run a mid mount mower.
Your mileage may vary....

Do you think it would be possible to make a bracket to move the wheels out of harms way?

I hate to start cobbling on a brand new deck. I also hate to flop on my side and take a nap.

I'd like to go with 3" spacers. What happened to the good old days when the hubs slid on the axle shafts?

Good question. I didn't order the mower so can't give a good answer. I'm going with the 3pt finish mower instead.

Great idea..wish I would have went with the 3pt finish mower instead of the MMM 60" mower, easier to take it on and off.

Is the mower still on order? If so see if the dealer will change it to a 3pt finish mower. If not see if you can find a 3pt mower and sell the mid. I know, huge pain in the ass but if you want to add spacers it's probably the easiest route.

My main issue with the 3 point mower or anything else behind a tractor is that I am not very twisty anymore. I would need mirrors or a camera or something.

I have 2 inch spacers on my LX2610HSDC(cab version) and use a 60 inch MMM. Also have the backhoe and the tires are the R14T's(smaller of the two sizes available). Also have the WSM manual for it, its a pdf file if want that PM me with an email and I'll give you the goggle docs location.

Yep. So far my experience and chats about the LX2610 indicate I should have skipped the MMM. 2 people liked the set up and the rest, not so much. I would definitely skip the MMM on the LX2610

I have zero concerns about how effective the MMM is for mowing, just a PITA to take it on and off. Easier if you lift the front tires up with the loader, but still a hassle. I take the loader off to mow, but that’s a much easier process. Someday I will buy a zero turn so I don’t need to switch back and forth.

I have Toro front deck mowers. But they don't like ditches. That's the only reason we got the MMM.
In hindsight We should have got a 455 John Deere or something instead or just got a brush hog and mirrors or camera.

Does it look like you could have gone wider with the spacers?

I'd like to try 2-1/2" spacers with the 60" MMM.

It looked like it might be close.
