I don’t know the tractor, but since it moves in 4wd its not the transmission. The rear axle is always powered so the 4wd lever would have nothing to do with it either. I would suspect a broken rear axle or something broke in the rear differential. Have you lifted the rear of the tractor and tried spinning the wheels by hand (be sure its in 2wd)?

One other even simpler issue I recall seeing here I think. Check air in rear tires, think I recall this issue on the bx with the rim spinning inside the tire. Will it move in 2 wd with the diff lock engaged?

‘I have a BX2200 and Fordtech86’s comments seem right on. Can’t think to add anything else but do suggest you check what he advised.

Kubota used a powder-coated rim on the BX and when you add Rim Guard to the wheel and tire and the air pressure gets low, the Rim Guard will get between the tire bead and the rim, causing the tire to stand still and the rim will be spinning inside the tire. Move the tire valve to 12 o'clock and inflate to 20 pounds or even a few more if the rim continues to slip inside the tire. Also, if you have the old rubber tire valves, it is only a matter of time before one will break and you will lose all your ballast. I suggest taking the tire off the tractor and laying it down with the valve pointed up. Then using a bead breaker, break the bead on the valve side, and then pull the old valve out with a valve puller and replace it with a bolt-in valve. There is enough room to push the tire down and slip the new valve stem into the rim hole, and get the nut onto it. Tighten the nut and then inflate the tire before lifting. You might have to remove the core to get enough air rushing into the tire to seat the bead. Reinstall the valve and fill it with air and put it back on the tractor.

checked all tires an differential lock will not engage all the other hydraulics' work like power steering the lift bucket all the pto"s no noise in transmission differential

u probably have a problem with the differential or an axle or maybe a ring or pinion gear problem or whatever I think because the front wheel drive works but the rear wheel doesn't so that tells me the transmission works fine but for some reasons the trans isn't turning the rear axle flange/wheel so you could jack up the back wheels and put the brake on and then see if you can turn the rear wheels with the brake still on if you can then you might have a broken axle shaft good luck
