MTL Grapple - My Experience

I ordered my 60” MTL grapple last Monday evening. It was delivered yesterday, one week later. Can’t complain about the customer service.

It looks to be a sturdy tool with all the basics covered, good welds, good steel, grease zirks where they should be. I’m pleased and it was $1269 delivered To my farm.

I have had my MTL 72" grapple for 3-4 yrs now, its been used and abused but it still in good shape. Never had any complaints about customer service with anything i got from them .

I just purchased the RG7 and much the same experience. Probably more grapple than my L3901 can handle but that is my problem not theirs. Film at 11 after I get a valve plumbed in

I ordered a twin lid CV 60 model for my L3901 last Christmas on a special offer of $999 delivered. It took a few months to show up due to inventory error and restocking but what great value. It’s a great pairing for my L3901. I can only say good things about MTL quality and value.

That’s a great price. I started this post as a reference for others in the market. ( I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger ) Most grapples out there are $1800 and up. Plus, a big wait for delivery. This one seems like it will do what I need which is mostly brush management. My Kubota has a lift capacity of 1560. This weighs in under 400 lbs so I should be good to go.

I do believe you generally get what you pay for so I was a little suspicious but have been pleasantly surprised.

My belief is a little different. I think you generally only get what you pay for and all too frequently not even that. My RG7 was $1300 delivered (8 days). Plus they did not debit my credit card until the day it shipped. A laudable business model and I am very happy with the product and service.

I got a really good deal on the Landpride SGC0660 grapple back in early Spring just under $1,500 bucks. Cant buy it for that now. The grapple is a must. I love it.

It rained cats and digs all day yesterday so I took the opportunity to work inside and finish plumbing the temporary valve for my new MTL RG7. It works like a champ but is definitely a load for an LA525. I have loaded R4's and a 700# mower on the rear and it needs more ballast. Long logs make it real tippy....
