Washer fluid pump

I need to replace a washer fluid pump on the M7060. Of course you can’t buy just a pump from Kubota, the whole complete tank is available for hundreds of dollars tho.....
I guess the world wouldn’t go around without there being 367 different sizes and styles of pumps out there, Has anyone else replaced a pump, found a specific one that fits the hole in the tank? I have to mail order anything I get, unless it’s a generic one from out local auto parts store, and he’ll have to order one so it’ll be mine if it fits or not... i suppose a grommet kit / plugging the old hole and drilling a new hole is always an option too.

The best you can hope for is to try and disassemble and find a part number. The ones I've come across have been sealed units and it's easier to replace the whole unit. You might find an alternate model that fits your location.

a possible option.. replace the whole tank with a car/pickup truck unit ?? A friend replaced tank in his truck with a windshield fluid jug and inline pump. He plowed snow and want LOTS of fluid. Depending on shape,size,configuration ..it might cost you $20 at a wreckers for a tank unit. If you go that route, by a 2nd one for a spare !

Out of curiosity, looked up the part at Messick's and it is $187.28, which is crazy to replace a washer pump motor. What I find interesting is that they have 15 in stock. That seems like a high quantity to have in stock unless their are a lot of pump failures.

The Tank assembly is used in 67 different models. Perhaps one of the older parts contained a pump only part number that could be used to find a Pump Only... Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the input and ideas. There is no number on the pump that means anything. I’ve measured the inlet nipppe and will email an aftermarket pump outfit and see what one is close.
I thought about the auto wrecker route too Kubota in all their wisdom put 2 pumps on this one, for redundant safety I guess.... but no matter what I find ill have to cut the connectors off so may as well find a dual outlet pump. The added bonus is the auto jug will have an easily replaceable tank cap, unlike the tractor and it seems these lids fall apart in short order. (I had a guy 3d print me a new one but...)

M M9 cab also has 2 pumps. One for the front glass and one for the rear glass. They appear to be identical.

I pulled a pump and tank assy. from a Mazda Miata, the pumps are the same.
