Field cultivating and drip irrigation

Wondering if anyone has any experience with this, and/or suggestions.

I have a cultivator very much like this:

I use it during the early part of the season to clear weeds between rows (obviously) - but next year I'm considering going with some form of drip irrigation system instead of overhead. The drip hose would be on the row, so that part isn't a problem, but I'm a little concerned about the ends where the feeder hoses would be.

Any tips or suggestions other than "just be careful when you drop and raise it"?

Check out NEVERSINK FARM on youtube. Quite an operation on 1.5 acres. He uses a wire weeder that he also sells. I was half tempted to quit my job and become a farmer after that hour of youtube. I don't know how it could be measured but I would bet that youtube contributes materially to global productivity. Good luck and have fun.
