I needed a little more room ( 9" )

Yes it is, I have a 252 also, this is my 2ed 211.

I don't know what those sleeves are supposed to accomplish. I have never seen a larger than 2" insert. My Chevy Silverado came with the factory tow package and they put one of those larger receivers on it with a sleeve to down size to a 2". Seems stupid to me if they are not making inserts larger than 2".

I have had this receiver for some time... I have moved it 100 times in the shop, it was just under 11" be for I cut it..... My 2017 F-350 has an insert that can be removed when needed...

My Ram 2500 came with a 2 1/2 inch receiver. Commercial trucks (Dump, tow) usually have a 3 inch receiver. The receiver is rated to pull more than the truck. I have one seven 2 inch receivers and zero 2 1/2 inch receivers in the garage. I will be buying a bulletproof hitch in 2 1/2 inch for the Ram, and continue using a sleeve on the Ford.
