Summit 3rd function on LX2610

This will not be a @bird dogger write up! Just some small changes from the B50 to the LX.
I do not have a backhoe, but do have 2 rear remotes.

Valve mounts to loader upright and the PB line same as the B50.

The return to tank has a banjo instead of adapter and 90. And since it is a banjo, you do not have to remove the seat tray bolt. But it does give you a bit more room. You can see the remote piping in this picture.

I added 3 more 3/8 jic 90’s, to tuck the hoses up. Will make some type of guard for the solenoids and my double 90 fitting.

That is pretty much it. I followed @bird dogger thread and it was pretty easy, minus wrestling the loaded rear tire off!

Will hopefully get the loader hoses installed as well as my clamp, tomorrow. Pictures to follow.

Got the clamp installed and hoses ran. Will order some hose cover soon.

All in all, a pretty simple install. Will zip tie as needed once I get the protective covering on all hoses.

Have to get some female wire connections to finish up the wiring. Tapped into the key power hot wire and am running to a switch on dash to energize system. May need to change that to the run side of switch, I’ll see if it has a draw or drains battery.

Now, before you get too carried away with using the grapple, you should think about fabricating a grill guard with some expanded metal. That brush has a way of sticking through the back side of the grapple and could punch a hole in your new grill.

I am already thinking of a better guard. I should be ok for now, as I have a lot of larger logs to move. Trees I've dropped, burned the tops, but couldn’t(didn’t want to) move the logs by hand.

Got all of my hoses covered. Ordered 2 25’ 1’ID rolls. Have enough left over to do the tilt hoses if I decide to add that later on.

Shoulda been that way from the factory. I don’t like the very sharp bend in the lower hose either. If one pops, I will hard line into the “channel” and connect hose there.

Would sure be sweet if there was a part number for that banjo fitting on the 3-pt inlet... others have had to modify pieces to get that fitting. Do you have anything that would help direct anyone that needs that piece?

Here are the updated install instructions. #6,7 and 8 are the pieces that return to tank under the seat. I would suggest adding a few more #4 90* to the order, to tuck the hoses up better.

Matt, I used my grapple yesterday and only the hoses from the middle connection to the quick couplers are protected by sheaths. EA must have been running low on hose protector sheathing when they built my grapple. Otherwise, the hose routing looks identical to yours.....somewhat sharp bends and all.

I added all of the hose cover on mine. Atleast you got some!

I agree, that instruction sheet is by far better than what I was sent!
I sent Patrick my picture with the double 90* fittings and a suggestion to include or give the option to buy more. He said they may just start including them. Really seemed to like my setup.

my Summit third function kit for a LX2610 has only one copper banjo washer. how does the bottom of the fitting seal on the threaded hole? Thanks.
