I've just bought a Kubota B1750 that does not hold pressure on the 3 point linkage when trying to lift my flail mower (I am a complete novice when it come to tractors but I don't mind getting my hands dirty and trying to repair things myself). Also the power steering does not work adequately ? are there things I can check easily.
Thanks

You might start by checking your hydraulic fluid level and if thats good try changing the hydraulic filter and cleaning any suction screens and changing the fluid out. Hopefully that helps.

There is probably a knob underneath the seat that can set the speed of lowering the three point hitch. It will lock it in place if you turn it far enough

The mower is about 518 pounds. The tractor itself is between 1300 and 1400 pounds. I don't know the three point capacity of your tractor but that might be something to check. There may also be holes on the three point linkage to give you better leverage for lifting.
