Today my B2410 turns 20 years young. Bought it new in "Aug 99". The current hours are 2299.5. YEP! by the end of the day we'll hit the 2300 hour milestone. Here are some pics of her taken yesterday after mowing and air hosed off. I can't even begin to tell you how much work this 12 month tractor has done over the years. I can say with confidence there are no leaks, seeps or drips on the garage floor when I park her. (Gotta brag a little bit). Here she is.... A.jpg B.jpg D.jpg F.jpg

It obviously does payoff!
That thing would be beautiful if it was a garage queen; even more impressive that it is a working tractor.

A little tlc goes a long way and you would still get a premium price for the tractor if you decided to sell it. Some people can make something new old in a short period of time.

Yep. I'm one of them. Mines 15 years younger but not as shiny as Butch's B2410!

That is a fine looking machine!

A few friends give me grief when they seeing me washing and waxing mine!

Few tell me my tractor stays cleaner than their trucks but too me an hour here and there is well worth the time making sure she is well maintained.

Yep, waxed mine a 3 or 4 weeks ago and I'd like to get one more coat on before winter. My friends have the same reaction when they see it, pretty much think I'm a little OCD.

I waxed mine as well. I paid as much for it as a truck and plan on having it for a long time so why not take care of it.

Dang, you guys and Butch are making me feel guilty for neglecting my girl. Gonna go buy one of those ceramic coatings for mine and wash and treat it with it.

Good looking tractor. Mine turned 30 this year, been together for 11 years and only had to add fuel and change fluids.

Wow... Kubota will now have to buy it back from you and thoroughly go thru it to find out what's wrong with it!

Nice unit. I don't wax either of mine but they are ag tractors. They do get washed regularly and maintained well. Mine are a 2002 and 2004. 6000 and 2000 meter hours.

Great looking tractor. These Kubota’s, well taken care of, will last much longer than many people realize. You see many people that are afraid to use their tractors and put hours on them because they will wear them out. Service them well and you will be hard pressed to wear them out.

Very nice and you are justifiably proud.

Kinda like the used car salesman said about the little old lady's car; "Only drove it to church on Sunday". :)

Good looking tractor. Mine turned 30 this year, been together for 11 years and only had to add fuel and change fluids.
I only had two major issues with mine over the years. I replaced the steel high pressure that runs from the rear of the tractor to the Hydraulic pump. That was a four day fix in my shop. 99.999% of the time was tearing it apart and reassembly. Root cause of the weld at the banjo connection at the pump seep was.... The dealer , in prepping the tractor for purchase , placed a worm clamp around the pipe under the floor board and that put an abnormal strain on the pipe. After 10 or so years vibration took its toll.

The second issue was the gear box on the MMM. By the time I noticed the lower seal had failed .... it was too late the gears and bearings were toast. Rather than trying to rebuild the unit I bought a brand new unit that was a straight bolt on and go. That one costs me a couple bucks under a grand. To have rebuilt it.... it was just north of $780. The lash on the gears were factory shimmed. It was a no brainer.
