My 18 yr old son just got a new 3D printer and is itching to show me how much he needed it... Have any of you printed parts for mods to use on your tractors? I think I am going to have him make some mounts for my LEDs on the ROPS to replace the zip ties but seeing if you guys have done anything else like that? Thanks-

A replacement cap for the wiper fluid reservoir on my 8560 would be a good thing if he wants to sell things. $180 to buy the whole tank is the only way to get them, and the plastic formulation was screwed up on the originals so they disintegrate in a very short time.

There are a couple ROPS mounts out there that can be modified for mounting lights. I have down loaded the files, but haven't printed anything yet. I would print them with PETG, will hold up better in the sun.

i'll second jkwilson about the washer fluid bottle cap.
I had a fellow locally print me one, took a few tries to get it just right. He used some sort of flexible 'ninja' plastic.
charged me $50. i was happy to pay that than the $200+ for the whole tank.
switch mounts, cup holders, light brackets, plastic bushings...... the list is almost endless!!

I printed an enclosure for the TinyTach I put on my BX2230. I epoxied it to a piece of aluminum and mounted it to the screw at the front of the dash. Works great.

When I added LED lights under the canopy of my L3301HST, I made a 3D printed housing for the light switches. One switch is for the front lights, and the other is for the rear lights.

The thing about 3d printing is, you need to design the part yourself, or find a design file already made. Sometimes you can find one that is close to what you want and modify it yourself. But you need a computer program to be able to do that. If you are not familiar with CAD programs, it can be very frustrating to learn.

Thanks - I just ordered a roll of orange PETG and we already have some black. I found a ROPS mount that we are going to modify for the LED mounts. We are having fun playing with the printer.

At least as of the time I got my tractor in 2017, the factory work light kit was dumb incandescent stuff. I'm glad I rolled my own LED lighting instead.

What setup are you using for the trash bin lifters? I just got my first tractor, and being able to haul the trash to the curb would be awesome.

Your setup is almost exactly what I was envisioning for mine in terms of lighting too. I just want to get a canopy first - is yours DIY?

My canopy is factory, but the dealer said they accidentally installed an M series canopy instead of an L series one... and liked it so much that he was going to quit ordering the L series ones!

I have a Heavy Hitch receiver on the 3-point links, with two of their Hitch'N Can hooks and Dual Adapter. I also have a skid steer receiver plate (from Northern Tool, I think?) that I can use to carry the cans on the front when I don't want to change my rear attachment. I'm getting a quick hitch that should make changing rear attachments much less of a chore. It's on order, but my dealer says that Land Pride is slow about fulfilling orders right now so it may still be over a month away from arriving.
