I was wondering that size box blade a B2650 can handle, the dealer suggested to 5' because the front bucket is 60".

What are your thoughts? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have the 2650B open station and run the 60” implements. Rear blade, box scraper, land plane. Went with the heavier versions. Good rule of thumb is to be wider than your rear wheel width.

I'd stick with a 60. A 500 lb box blade full of dirt can be a tough pull with a 26 hp 2000 lb machine.

I have a 60" EA box blade behind mine. It's plenty wide enough. I'd suggest sticking with the 5 footer for the B2650 as well.

I would also recommend the 60***8221;, go with a heavier version for cutting. The t0 is wider than the tires even with 2***8221; spacers installed.

One thing you have to remember, you will run out of traction long before you run out of power. Remember these are small tractors and not a 988 :D

Rule of thumb is generally 1 foot of implement width per 5hp.

I run a 54" Land Pride box for my B2650 rops tractor. I already had it for use with my old B2400. With a substantial amount of dirt collected in the box it will stop the B2650 due to wheel spin even with R4s and rear tires loaded. It does cover the tire tracks but just barely. A 60" will work but the B2650 wont "own it".

Owners manual for the B2650 says not more than 54 inches or 500 lbs for a box blade. Exceeding that will void warranty. It is not just the engine hp but also the strength of the 3pt and the subframes that limit implement width. And as mentioned above the weight and traction. No point in having a really wide implement if you're just going to get it stuck or be unable to make it work properly.

I run the 60" EA box and haven't had any issues. Digging heavy into a 30 y/o compacted gravel driveway I had no issues with power or traction. I'm on filled turfs. I don't know about the warranty, but I can't see it breaking stuff before it looses traction.
