New member here. I am installing a radio in my L5030HST, and though there is a harness, speakers, etc. I cannot find an antenna wire anywhere behind the hole in the headliner. Would they have left that out? If so, what are recommendations for a mounting location?
Many thanks!

My L4630 had the antenna connection under the roof. and it plugged into the back of the radio which was in a cut out in the left front headliner area.

Yes, that is what I expected to find, but no antenna cable. Has anyone added an antenna to a cab roof?

You might consider taking the roof off. It’s fairly easy to do and not all of the screws inside the cab need to remove to do so. You’ll be able to see all the wires. The roof liner can stay in place on the inside.

There is no visible antenna, but a Kubota service manager told me that some are hidden wire antennas. I'll pull the roof this afternoon and report back.

OK. Roof off and no evidence of any antenna. Does anyone have a picture of how Kubota mounts antennas in an L series cab? The roof is twin walled and deep at the edges, which is where I would try first. Also, there is a hole in the LH front cab post just near the mirror, where someone might snake a line from a mirror mounted mast. Or, has anyone tried a "hidden" antenna with any luck?

I'd post a couple of pics, but haven't figured that out yet. Many thanks for any help.

I think mine is left front by the mirror. I am sure it came with the antenna & I added the radio later.
