Can anyone tell me the difference between the two? Looking at purchasing a front mount B2782B 63" snowblower that came off a B2650. I have a B2601.

My question is... Can the B2747 mid pto driveline be modified to fit my tractor or will I have to buy the B2798? I'm guessing the B2747 is just a couple inches longer so I'm hoping to get lucky and only have to shorten it versus buying a $600 assembly. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Have a B2601 and had the same questions as you. When it finally happened I purchased a new BX2755HD with the recommended drive line kit. Expensive yes. Worth every penny compared to turning around with a rear mount blower, did that for 20 years. I found a few different quick hitches and looked at modifying them to work but decided not to. The main reason was what if something happened to the tractor. Not saying it would but if it did, how could I go back to Kubota for any type of reimbursement. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I have spent a lot on the tractor and want to have it for a long time. So my advise is buy the required parts for your tractor.

What is the difference in wheel base between the two tractors? I just bought a blower off of a 2620 and it came with a B2733A hitch. That hitch fits many different B series tractors. It cost $967.00 plus the drive line parts. It also has a 18" stub shaft and much heavier bearings than a BX does.

Looks like the 2650 is 4" longer wheelbase. The hitch may fit, but you may have to get a different mid shaft or drive shaft.

Anyone know what a complete B2782B 63” front mount blower with hydraulic chute rotation would run? Seller said he paid $6100 and it’s only been used 4 times. I’m guessing that’s about right but not 100%. Going prates on used blowers?

Wouldn't doubt it. I just bought a BX5450 with electric spout and the fellow paid a shade over 5 grand for it. Hydraulic chute rotation, cost quite a bit more.
