I purchased an L5240 with cab, FEL, BH92 and snow plow with front hydraulics last September. The only issue I have had is starting in cold weather. The dealer said that they would install a block heater for free, then at the time of final inspect and delivery they explained that I would never need it, nor could they fit it because the turbo blocks access to the freeze plugs. The manual says it should start in negative temperatures. It was about 3 degrees out when it wouldn't start. I run the anti-gel additives and use road diesel.
Does anyone know if a block heater cannot be installed into Kubota's new line of turbo charged tractors?
