BX25 Quick Hitch- What do I want?

Ok...I am done futzing around with 3PT attachments. I need a quick hitch solution. But which one?
I only use a landscape rake at the moment, and I would like the ability to quickly attach it and go. I realize that they are not too difficult to get on, but looking for something easier none the less.
I have been looking at a Pat's and also the Landpride quick hitch (which seems pretty expensive.) It seems like the Landpride would be the best as there is no tinkering with the top link.

Advice?

There are many good and great options available. I purchased an Inexpensive Harbor Freight Rear quick hitch for $79.00 I use a cultivator, 6' rake, box blade, home made land plane and A frame tow hitch all with the same QH. You can back up and attach without getting off the tractor. Many will say it's a cheap chinese unit, but it works great for me. Many others too
The key is to have all your implements set at the same adjustment, so they are all the same size and ease on and off the QH

I was looking at that one before, but there is a a lot of complaint that it does not fit implements? What is all that about?

Many implements won't fit any quick hitch without modifications.

The HF hitch's main drawback is the top hook doesn't extend far enough behind its mount to reach the top pin on some implements with a narrow space for the top link. There are various work-arounds, and at least one company makes an extended replacement hook. Any other misfits would probably happen regardless of QH brand.

Which LandPride QH are you looking at? The QH15 is expensive and heavy. The QH05 is designed for BX tractors, is lighter, and less expensive.

I haven't committed to anything yet. I'm trying to figure which way to go.

The problem I have seen is many implements have two bolts at the top, and the lower one is in the way of the QH hook.
I've taken the second bolt out, and welded the support arms to the outside, so the top hook slides up clean and easy.

My neighbors wife bought him a Beautiful land plane, but the top bolt is placed about 6" rear of straight up and down ........ so we made a pair of steel triangle plates to offset the distance, and now you just hook it and go.

Even cat 0 implements, can be adapted by extending the length a few inches. A little welding and done! If you don't have a welder, you can go to a metal supply store and have them punch the holes for the bolts and pins, they will cut to the size you need and you can have someone weld it for you.

Take a piece of paper or light cardboard and draw it out, take it to the metal supply and they will make it for you.

You should measure the width between your pins on your rake. Thats the one attachment that wouldnt work with my QH. I modded my rake from 14" to 18" so it would work no hassle.

My 3pt implements are different widths at the pins, otherwise not all quick hitch compatible. So I went with Pats and Hodges stabilizers. I also store my implements on roll around dollies. Yes I have to get off the tractor but hooking up the implements is a snap.

I just may go with this set up. Although it is very expensive considering the lack of convenience.
