My T1760 starter is clicking. I was going to take it off but the aft bolt is a bear. Anyone removed this starter? What's the best way to troubleshoot this. Have a brand new fully charged battery. Thanks.

That rear bolt is a bear! IIRC, I used a bent wrench.

Before you take it off, grab your volt meter. I need to know the voltage of 2 wires. One, the big wire from the battery. Then, lock the park brake and test the smaller wire. Leave the wires on the starter to do the voltage test. Then report back. I think I know the problem but I need the voltages.

Ohmed out ground cable. Checked good.

To remove starter. Remove battery. Take out the three screws holding the black rubber dust shield that separates the engine compartment from the battery compartment. This allows you to push the dust shield aft for room. There is a black electronic box in the way of getting a "1/4 drive ratchet and 12mm socket on the aft bolt. Remove the two 10mm securing the box and move out of the way. No need to disconnect any electrical wires from the box. You can now get in and get you socket and ratchet on the bolt. Mine was super tight.

I am going to take the starter to auto parts store for testing.

12.65V on the positive cable and 12.45V on the little wire that activates the solenoid. Thanks.

Those are withing spec, assuming that they were checked with them still connected. Sounds like starter time. There are some cheap starters available for it, however, be prepared to replace it more often than an OEM kawasaki starter.
