BX1850 Steering

Power steering will turn the wheels to the left but will not always come back to the right. The steering wheel will turn but wheels will not. After a few turns back and forth it will finally turn.

steering cylinder leaking internally. Rebuild might fix it.

The center seal on the steering cylinder is leaking from one side to another. Takes 1 minute to change the seal , 2 to 5 hours to get to it.

I don't remember, but is the 1850 set up the same way as the BX 70 series? I did one of those recently, wasn't too bad. Worst part is the tie rod ends.

Would be advisable for the OP to price a new cylinder as opposed to rebuilding the old one + the time it takes, if that's a concern. I don't recall them being super expensive to replace them.
