Does it have a loader?
If it does then you can tee off of the valve's input and get a good #.
If no loader it's pretty hard to tap in and measure the pressure of the system, as there is no easy ports to plug into.
You can get the Gauge and fittings and hoses off Ebay, or other sources to make your own test setup, get a gauge, fittings and hoses that will take 3000PSI or greater.

I haven't messed with one of those tractors in a decade or so. But is there not a plug on the side of the 3 point hitch lift cylinder to check pressure with?

No loader, will have to work off the pump discharge. I may go to a machine shop and have them make me an adapter.

Thanks

I do not know, I looked in the service manuel and they showed hooking up to the discharge line. I called Kubota and they said had to have an adapter. May have to have one made.

lil foot,
Careful as most fittings on a Kubota are BSPT and not NPT, try it but don't force it.
But maybe you already know they are 3/8 NPT as I think I remember you having to replace hoses ;)

Thanks for the link, I have not found a threaded outlet on the valve block yet. The discharge hose has a round 1 1/2" metal block on each end which presses against the pump and valve with a metal crush washer under it and held by two bolts. The hole for the discharge pipe is not threaded, but their may be a hole on the valve body that will take a fitting. Thought about taping the side of the metal block to insert a fitting, then just put a plug in it.

Thanks

As always, all the comments and suggestions from you guys are greatly appreciated. I am not an expert, but can get from point A to B with some guidance.

NIW- Thanks, I plan on connecting at the output lines of the pumps on FEL & backhoe, which are all US made (ARPS) stuff.
And all hoses have already been replaced.:)

I totaly forgot about this...
Here is a super easy way to check pressure on the L275.

Pull this plug on the end of the add on hydraulic block, I do believe it's BSPT, but you can try NPT and see if it fits, just hand thread the fittings if it stops after a thread get the other threaded fitting.

Hi, what sort of pressure would be good for hydraulic pressure on kubota,s

PSI of the system depends on the model, In this case the L275 is somewhere in the range of 1920 PSI to 2130 PSI.

Zipfish, Give me a model and I'll try and give you the answer.

Hi, it's a b1500 dt, it has x2 small flex pipes above the three point linkages, think there to power a ram for the cultivator was going to check the pressure there ?

1920psi to 1991psi is the range.

As far as checking pressure at those ports it should work, but I'm pretty sure they are BSPT, the quick coupling ends on those are obsolete and impossible to find, you will need to change them out to AG or flat face connectors to make them work for you. ;)

Hi, cheers for the pressure info, I am going to change the connections out for new, if I was to fit a fel to my b1500 do I need to reduce the pressure ?. Planing to cut the pressure line one pipe into fel lever valve block and one back out back into tractor pressure line.

No you won't need to reduce the pressure.
