Maybe one of you guys with a BX25D could sell or loan it to skeets so he can loosen up a little.

LOL funny thing happened to me....dealer just dropped of my new BX25, no sooner did he pull out of the driveway, I went to a tree stump, flipped the seat up to turn it and it fell off!! washer, nut, and bolt laying on the floor pan LOL I called the driver to turn around so HE could note what happened with his own eyes. We just put it back on and we added another nut, all good. Tractor went into the shop for something else the week after and they ended up giving me a new seat.....go figure...new seat because of 1 nut! LOL Great dealer though!!

With the dealer being 2.5 hours away, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to email them a picture and have them send you the nyloc for it  I personally would just run to the hardware store for the nylock. Shouldn't be more then 50 cents at the most ;)

Both are nuts, but isn't a pair to be had in that pair!!!

Their "tractor seats" are both loose, because their wives took their nuts a long time ago!!:p:p:p

That's a pair that'd be 3-of-a-kind any day!!!;)

Well went to the dealer showed my parts.
Parts dude finds a new notice for the seat bolts.
Supposed to torque the nut to 25flbs and then jam another nut up against it.
So 2 new nuts and a washer, free. The oil discounted to 96 bucks.
Got a price for the oil last week from a diff dealer of $102
So I saved a whopping $6 no new seat, no great deal, just a dream...
Wait now I have 4 nuts woo hoo.

Proper procedure is :: Remove outer nut, Torque inner nut to 1.8 ft. lbs.
Install outer nut and, holding inner nut torque outer nut to 25 ft. lbs. Dealer gets .2 hrs and $75 incentive fee for doing it ( in Canada) all must be done by a year from now.

I'm posting on this again for a good reason. Until two weeks ago, the " loose nut"" has been the only problem I've had with my BX. Some time around December 2014, I got tired of my seat coming loose, always at the most in opportune time. I got a nylock and installed the nut on the seat. Never had a problem with at again. Problem fixed, or so I thought. Now see the pedal issue problem on the next post......

So everyone is getting extra nuts!!! My dad only has one..!!! About 30 years ago, he made the mistake of pulling a shotgun out of the seat of his truck with it pointing toward him. It was loaded and the trigger caught and the gun went off. No, wait. That's why he has a big chunck of his thigh missing. His nut is missing because him and mom got into a fight and one of them had a pistol and it went off, one nut gone. We call him "One hung low". Yes, they stayed married for 53 years.

Be bad enough loosing your nuts but to have the seat fall off would really hurt:D

My local dealer picked up my BX25D today. The seat recall needed to be dealt with and my instrument cluster was shorting out. First it showed the glow plug light after it had been running for 5-10 minutes. Then the next time, the rpm gauge would stay at zero. Then the whole cluster would flicker like a Christmas light.

They called me back and said the whole cluster needed to be replaced. It had been kept inside since I bought it but before they kept it outside. It has had moisture on the glass since I bought it. I admit I have thought of a dozen things I could be doing with it if it was back at home.

I'm surprised they picked it up to do the seat and cluster. The seat is a five minute job and the cluster, ten minutes.
