That could have been very bad!

How did you get it off? How does it run now?

That could go in a Kubota ad about their 4WD systems!

Yeah, it could have gone bad, sounds like nobody got hurt.

Should be entertaining to undo... please have some safety straps/cables/chains set when you bring it down, whatever technique you use.

Nobody was hurt. I attached a strap from the boom pole to my truck and had her put it in 4 LO with the back window open so she could hear me. I had her inch ahead as I kept the wheels straight with two ropes tied to the steering wheel ( I didn't want to be too close.) I also locked the brakes so when she stopped every few inches it would stop and not roll off of it uncontrollably. It really wasn't hard but I think I got lucky. I let it sit overnight before starting it but I hit the ignition and it fired right up like it should. No worse for wear as I can tell.

No kidding, when those tires hit it just climbed that bale like it was nothing.

I once got a call from my Mother-in-law asking if I could come down to her house and help her with her John Deere lawn tractor. When I got to her house she took me around to the back yard and I what do I see, the lawn tractor up a tree. The front end was in the air. She had caught one of the front wheels on a guy-wire and it went up the gut-wire till she pushed the clutch in. It was pretty funny looking, but she could have gotten hurt also.

Wow! That's amazing. Like others have said... glad she wasn't hurt. And thanks for posting. It's a good example how these tractors are a serious tool and a LONG way from being a mere toy.

calvery. "She baled somehow". Yes, but when you bale the finished bale is suppose to be behind the baler, not under the tractor!!

Just messing with you----she bailed.

Be careful, you speak your words into existence.

Only by God's grace do people walk away, without injury, from something like that!

For future reference (note to self, don't try this at home), how did she get the tractor into that position? The only thing I can think of would be trying to roll the bale with the tractor? So glad it turned out well :)

I dropped a bale at the gate earlier in the day and she wanted it into the pasture but didn't want to go hook up the hay spear so she thought she could just push it through the gate. Unfortunately when the tires hit it just grabbed and climbed.
