I have a mower deck for a F series tractor. I want to adapt the mower deck to my Holder tractor which has a front PTO at 1000 rpm. My deck has the 10 spline collar that fits onto the Kubota drive shaft and I want to change it to the standard 6 spline, 1 3/8" shaft. Is this practically possible? Plus, is the 1000 rpm PTO OK and adequate for the deck? The Holder tractor has around 55 PTO HP.
The shaft on the deck is around 16" long and has the snap collar that holds on to the Kubota PTO.
I would weld up a 3 pt hitch assembly to hold the deck to my 3 pt front assembly on the Holder. This does not appear to be a particularly tough task.

What model tractor are you mounting it on?
Most Mid Pto's are not 1000RPM, they are usually a lot more. ;)
